Teletherapy

Virtual therapy provides another option.

Teletherapy is becoming a popular alternative to in-person therapy.

For some people, teletherapy is a requirement because they want to keep others or themselves in a healthy environment.

But there are other reasons teletherapy might be the best option for you.

Convenience is a motivator for some clients.

There’s no commuting time – no more traffic!

You need not get childcare.

And you can experience therapy without leaving your room or home.

So, how does teletherapy work?

I will set up an appointment with you that suits both of our schedules.

All you need to have is a smartphone, computer, or tablet.

Then, we meet virtually face-to-face and begin our work together.

Some people question the effectiveness of teletherapy.

There is no long-term research that directly compares teletherapy to in-person therapy. However, early studies provide excellent support for teletherapy’s effectiveness.

The positive side of teletherapy far outweighs the option of phone therapy.

After all, we get to see each other, look at each other’s eyes, and connect in a way that’s far deeper than on the phone.

The benefits far outweigh any concerns.

Teletherapy is, as the saying goes, the next best thing to being there.

Teletherapy offers freedom that we never had before. It accommodates people who live too far to make coming to the therapist’s office possible. Teletherapy also is a good fit for people who don’t feel they have the energy or are too fragile to leave their house.

More importantly, teletherapy makes therapy available to everyone.
